In the Bernardyńska project, we wanted to create large-city architecture, with materials and details referring to the best historical traditions of Wrocław. Locally lowered individual blocks of the building perfectly complement the historical neighbourhood of the investment. Using the means of architectural expression characteristic of Wrocław – crowning cornices, retraction of the last two floors or undercut ground floors – we have perfectly integrated the new building into its surroundings. On top of this we have imposed a contemporary language of architecture based on the grammar of clinker, referring to the noble context of the Post Office building.
In line with the city’s planning recommendations, we have created a unique, new, fully accessible public space. This intimate, city square is closed by one of the most beautiful landmarks in Wrocław – the wall of the church of the former Bernardine monastery. In this way, an exceptional place was created in the heart of the city, allowing you to live in the very centre, and at the same time being an oasis of greenery and peace. We believe that the moderation, quality and durability of this place create extraordinary architecture that we will leave for future generations.
The investment is located in the very heart of Wrocław, integrating into the former monastery complex at Bernardyńska Street. Its old walls remember the 15th-century urban fabric. The building is unique among modern investments – located only 850 meters from the market square, adjacent to strategic points on the city map: Dominikański Square, the Museum of Architecture and the Market Hall. What’s more, nearby you can find beautiful and important places such as the historic Ostrów Tumski, the romantic Dunikowski Boulevard running along the Oder, the National Museum or the Racławice Panorama – a painterly sensation on a national scale.
Near the investment, there are luxury hotels (Raddison, Hilton), Juliusz Słowacki Park and a green enclave co-financed by TOSCOM, thanks to which its residents will be able to enjoy an intimate corner in the city centre. The intriguing shape of the building has been deliberately integrated into the development with a soul and history, creating an ideal space for residents who care not only about a great location and exceptional atmosphere, but also large, luxurious apartments with a unique character.
When undertaking the creation of the investment at Bernardyńska Street, we wanted to look at this extraordinary place through the eyes of Wrocław’s former residents. Treating it with respect, understanding and referring to its history, we propose an extraordinary residential building. Its design refers to the aesthetics of the former monastery complex, and the façade is finished with bricks arranged in the form of a herringbone, and is a harmonious extension of the frontage of Bernardyńska Street.
Based on historical references, we have designed the property at Bernardyńska Street in the spirit of Superior Living as extremely prestigious and one of a kind. The size of the apartments ranges from 30-meter studios to 200-meter penthouses. The unique height of the apartments – from 275 cm to 340 cm, is an extraordinary treat for the most demanding customers.
